Who we are
Hello! We’re Celtic Underground — a four-piece acoustic band that puts a fresh spin on Irish folk music. With twin fiddles, guitar, and banjo, we blend driving tunes and pub singalongs with rich harmonies and the storytelling spirit of Americana. Our setlists feature jigs, reels, ballads, and crowd favorites that get people clapping, singing, and dancing. Based in the Washington, DC area, we’ve built a loyal local following and bring a warm, high-energy vibe to every stage we play. We released our first single, Johnny Jump Up | Morrison's Jig in April 2026 and plan to release our first album You Can Always Go Home later this spring.
